What I Do
I create audio art. This means I use sound to shape and alter my visual compositions.
In my work, I mix old and new ways of doing things. Using both traditional methods and modern technology, I'm both an artist who makes visuals and a musician. I've developed a methodology merging these creative domains, letting sound guide how I create visuals.
My portfolio comprises traditional drawing, digital collage, animation, and musical compositions coalescing seamlessly, forming a cohesive artistic body where each element communicates organically with the others.
Exploring the nature of human experience in the digital sphere, my work often adopts a monochromatic, low-fidelity aesthetic. Charcoal, found photographs, and digital paintings serve as the fundamental canvas, transformed through animation techniques. Converting music into data introduces an element of surprise, frequently altering the trajectory of my visual creations unexpectedly.
At the heart of my artistic inquiry lies an exploration of data embodied in sound, imagery, and textual elements, investigating how these components influence and modulate our perception of selfhood.
