"Clouds" at Kanvas, Dubai

This month my audio art "Clouds" is being displayed at the Kanvas Gallery in Dubai. The exhibition "Code 22" features 24 artists and focuses on celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Project22.art 

"Clouds" is a 22-second audio artwork that merges traditional drawing, digital painting, animation, and sound. 

I digitised my charcoal drawings of clouds, animated them, and synchronised their movements with the sound of my voice.

The concept for both the piece and its accompanying poem emerged from a frustrating five-hour wait time at an airport due to check-in regulations. The piece explores transitory states, the ephemeral nature of time, and the various restrictions we must navigate. On the ground, everything is defined. But when we fly, for a brief moment, we belong nowhere.
